About the opportunity

As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.   You will have the opportunity to work closely with the accounting team and contribute to the overall success of the firm. 

This position offers a combination of administrative and accounting responsibilities, allowing you to gain valuable experience in both areas. 

About the role

  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, maintaining office inventory, coordinating suppliers, managing mail etc. 
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices, client communication and bank deposits. 
  • Support IT needs and computer maintenance. 
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines. 
  • Assemble tax returns for personal and corporate tax clients (training provided). 

About you

  • You bring a positive attitude and a solution driven approach to your days
  • You possess strong organizational skills and have a keen eye for detail. 
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal. 
  • You have a basic understanding of accounting principles or a willingness to learn.
  • You have very comfortable with using technology and are able to troubleshoot simple IT problems independently (printer jam, Wi-Fi connection, clearing browser data) 
  • You’re driven by excellence and know that in this kind of work it is often the little things that matter.
  • Previous experience  in an administrative role, preferably in financial or professional services. 
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is advantageous.  
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
